According to Técnico’s car parking regulations, the users included in Annex I are eligible to apply for unlimited access cards to Alameda campus parking.
Applicants who have access to Fénix (PhD students and scholars with an employment relationship with IST or IST-ID) should sign in and submit the required documents via Fénix. Applicants who already have a parking card, either limited or unlimited, should access Fénix and choose the option for unlimited access card renewal.
Members of APIST, AEIST, IPSFL, visiting researchers (also members of Research Units at IST) and ADIST scholars must apply for the card through Fénix. Those without a Fénix login must require temporary access, fill in the required forms and deliver the documents at DSI (IT Services). After getting a Fénix login, users must access their personal area, select “Parking” and apply for the access card (please ensure all required documents are submitted).
The Research/Academic Units at Técnico shall deliver, in due time, a list of car parking users, specifying the category: Visiting Researcher or PhD Researcher (FCT scholarship – an official document from FCT is required, determining the scholarship and its duration) and Técnico Staff, to the Parking Management.
Retired professors should deliver the application form in their respective departments which, after authorisation, will be delivered to the secretariat of the Governing Board.
IMPORTANT NOTE – The unlimited access cards already assigned to Teaching and Non-teaching staff do not require renewal. Card renewal will be done automatically. However, the parking management must be informed about any change of vehicle.
