Bioinorganic chemistry by William B. Tolman

William B. Tolman, professor at Washington University in St. Louis, gave a lecture on Bioinorganic Chemistry under the American Corners programme at Técnico.

Professor William B. Tolman (Washington University in St. Louis, USA) gave a lecture titled “Reactive copper-oxygen complexes relevant to enzyme intermediates” this Tuesday, April 16th, as part of the celebration of the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements.

Professor William B. Tolman described the recent progress toward the characterization of the structures and properties of intriguing copper-oxygen species, as well as detailed mechanistic studies defining their reactivity.
