The 6th edition of the “Experimenta-te” programme is about to start, aiming to promote active youth through the exploration of various artistic and scientific and technological activities. It also seeks to awaken in young people aged between 13 and 18 an interest in and vocation for a wide variety of areas.

Técnico’s participation in “Experimenta-te” is part of the “Engineering for All” programme, a project promoted by Oeiras City Hall and Instituto Superior Técnico, to foster scientific and technological literacy in the Oeiras community. This initiative includes activities open to the community that challenge participants to reflect and act on science and engineering problems.

Registration is now underway. The event will include various activities, three of which will take place at Técnico – Taguspark campus:

• Design and Development of Games | Create a serious game!

• Build Your Robot for the Future | Step into the future and create your robot!

  April 6, April 13, April 20, April 27 – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  May 4, May 11, May 18, May 25 – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The final event of the project will take place on May 26, at Largo 5 de Outubro, in Oeiras and will include a demonstration of all activities.
