Instituto Superior Técnico (Alameda campus) hosted a roadshow organised by NEE-ULisboa network between 19 and 23 de September. The network to support Students with Special Educational Needs at ULisboa (NEE-ULisboa Network) includes representatives of its 18 schools, Student Support Services (SASULisboa), Estádio Universitário de Lisboa (EULisboa) and students. This network aims to identify, disseminate and implement good practice to improve the academic life of students with NEE.

This roadshow, held on the International Day of People with Disabilities, contributed to disseminate the existing supports, barriers and facilitators, as well as activities and challenges. Such initiatives are very important to raise people’s awareness on this topic, helping to improve the quality of life of students with NEE at ULisboa.
