“Observar e Aprender” Project – 15th edition

This project aims to stimulate the teaching activity, promote experimentation spaces and support ULisboa faculty. - Registrations are open until 6th October 2021.

The 15th edition of the “Observar e Aprender” project will take place during the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.

This project aims to stimulate the teaching activity, promote experimentation spaces and support ULisboa faculty. It consists of the cross-observation of classes between faculty, based on a voluntary basis, in which the anonymity and confidentiality of the participants is assured.

The gains from this experience include the promotion of teaching practice skills, either through the feedback received by the observed or through the pedagogical awareness of the observation. The challenges we have recently been facing in our teaching practice reinforce the importance of observing and exchanging teaching practices.

The team involved in the organization of this project, pioneer at ULisboa, includes representatives from Instituto Superior Técnico, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Psychology, Institute of Agronomy, Faculty of Sciences and Institute of Education. The ultimate goal of the project is to ensure the involvement and active participation of all the ULisboa Schools in the future.

Registrations

Registration is required until 6th October – Registration form.

Project’s seminar

The project’s seminar will take place on October 11, starting at 2:30pm, via Zoom. The session will be attended by João Pedro Pêgo (FEUP), coordinator of “De Par em Par” project – pedagogical sharing and peer-to-peer class observation project that inspired the launch of the “Observe and Learn” project.

Subsequently, the results of the observation grids collected during the 2nd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year will be presented. Then, practical aspects related to the project operation in this semester will be discussed and there will be a time for sharing experiences of colleagues who participated in past editions.
