Portuguese Author Day is celebrated on 22 May every year. To mark this date, the Técnico Library has curated a selection of books dedicated to Portuguese literature, which will be available in the Técnico reading booth, located in the North Garden, at Alameda campus.
From 19 to 23 May, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., those interested can visit the reading booth to find classics and new titles, all by Portuguese authors. This selection also includes Portuguese literature translated into other languages.
How does the reading booth work?
1. Choose a book from the shelf;
2. Register your name, the title of the book, and the date in the registration notebook;
3. Take the book with you to enjoy your reading;
4. Return the book by placing it in the return basket;
5. Register the title and return date in the registration notebook.
