Técnico Alumnus wins 2nd place in APREN Award

Mário Balsemão won 2nd place in the Award delivered by the Portuguese Renewable Energy Association for his master's thesis in Energy Engineering and Management.

The master’s thesis in Energy Engineering and Management “Definition of Strategies for Production and Consumption of Sustainable Aviation Fuels in Portugal”, supervised by professor Paulo Ferrão, earned Mário Balsemão the 2nd place in the Portuguese Renewable Energy Association (APREN) Award, in the master’s thesis category. The award ceremony took place during APREN’s Annual Conference, on 16th and 17th November, at Culturgest in Lisbon.

With this award, APREN aims to distinguish the best master’s and doctoral dissertations «within the scope of renewable electricity, carried out in higher education institutions in Portugal».
