Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, opens its doors to innovation on 3 February 2026 for the second edition of Técnico Innovation Summit (TIS) 2026, at Técnico Innovation Center powered by Fidelidade, continuing the momentum of its debut in 2024. Participation is free of charge upon registration.

Throughout the day, participants will be able to explore projects and prototypes from Research Units at Técnico, learn about solutions under development, and attend debates and presentations dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and social impact. The programme also includes opportunities for direct contact with spin-offs and startups created by Técnico students, researchers, and alumni, as well as with companies and institutional partners that will attend the event with exhibition stands.

TIS 2026 is aimed at students, researchers, professors, companies and anyone interested in following the work carried out at Técnico in the fields of research and innovation, reinforcing the institution’s role as an active agent in knowledge transfer to society.

The Técnico Innovation Summit is Técnico’s annual event dedicated to research, technology and entrepreneurship, bringing together the academic community and business partners in a space for contact between science, technological development and knowledge enhancement. The initiative promotes the sharing of projects and solutions developed at Técnico, as well as the connection to the innovation ecosystem.
