Técnico professor elected President of the European Water Association

Saldanha Matos will chair the European Water Association, which is based in Germany.

José Saldanha Matos, professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Georesources, was elected President of the European Water Association (EWA). He will begin his functions as President on May 2017.

Professor Saldanha Matos joined EWA in 2005 as a member of the Council. In 2010 he joined the Management Committee and he is EWA’s Vice-President since 2015.
