Instituto Superior Técnico returns to Web Summit 2025 with its own exhibition stand dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship: prototype demonstrations, conversations with alumni, students’ organisations and startups. From 11 to 13 November, at FIL and Altice Arena in Lisbon, Técnico will once again bring its community together at Europe’s largest technology and entrepreneurship conference, in Pavilion 1 (exhibition stand E-176), with the support of the Santander Foundation.
The stand will feature six start-ups associated with its innovation and technology transfer ecosystem: BreastScreening-AI, FreshIST, StoneBrick, Surfactinnov, STONIFY, and SIMBIOSE.
Additionally, Técnico will be represented on the Experience Stage, where students’ organisations and teams will present various prototypes. The projects showcase the practical application of engineering and highlight the connection between learning and experimentation:
- 12 November (3.55 p.m.–4.25 p.m.) – TFC and Técnico Solar Boat.
- 13 November (2.40 p.m.–3:10 p.m.) – TLMoto and FST Lisboa.
During the three days of the event, the Técnico stand will be a meeting point for professors, researchers, students, entrepreneurs and alumni, providing opportunities for sharing and direct contact with some of the most innovative projects developed at the School.
