The AEIST women’s futsal team qualified for the semi-finals in the European University Championships organised by the EUSA (European University Sports Association).
The team composed of Rita Magalhães, Sara Henriques, Ana Jesus, Sofia Varela, Catarina Barra, Maria Marcelino, Beatriz Militão, Ema Almeida, Mafalda Brito, Teresa Rodrigues, Ana Peixoto and Ariana Marta, won three games and tied one game in the preliminary round of Group A, thus enabling the team to qualify for the semi-finals.
The AEIST women’s futsal team is coached by Nuno Aguilar (Coach) and Ricardo Nascimento (Assistant Coach).
The next game will take place on 21st July, at 1 p.m.
