The applications for the following awards will be open from 1 to 8 September:
- Professor Alberto Abecasis Manzanares
- Professor João Martins
- Professor Manuel da Costa Lobo
- Professor Edgar Cardoso
- Architect Álvaro Machado
These awards aim to encourage students of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Territorial and Urban Planning courses to obtain solid training in the scientific areas in which the prizes are awarded.
At the same time, they pay homage to former DECivil Professors who distinguished themselves for their contributions to scientific and technological progress, teaching generations of students and professional activity in their respective fields.
The respective regulations, public notices and application forms are available online. It is expected that the award will be delivered on 23 September, at the commemorative ceremony for the beginning of the 2024/2025 academic year.
