Instituto Superior Técnico and Magma Studio, with the support of the Técnico Students’ Union, the Lisbon City Council and the Unicorn Factory Lisboa, are teaming up to break the Guinness Record for the World’s Largest Computer Programming Lesson. To achieve this goal, the event is expected to bring together more than 1,600 participants.
The event will take place on 12 October, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Técnico Innovation Center powered by Fidelidade, in Lisbon, and is essentially aimed at university students from any Portuguese higher education institution.
Participation is free of charge. After registering, students will receive an email inviting them to confirm their attendance and pay a deposit of €10, which will be returned on the day of the event. Participants will receive an official Guinness World Records Certificate of Participation.
The computer programming lesson (10.35 a.m.-12.15 p.m.) will be conducted by Inês Lynce, Rodrigo Girão and Arlindo Oliveira.
