The IST Press published the 5th edition of the book “Álvaro Siza Design Process. Quinta do Bom Sucesso Housing Project”, by Ren Ito, with sketches by Álvaro Siza Vieira.

This trilingual edition – in Portuguese, Japanese and English – is presented in the form of a logbook.

In this journey, Siza’s constant dialogue with drawing is highlighted. The edition is illustrated with more than 74 drawings by Siza Vieira, annotated during the project.

Both for its content and organisation and for the didactic way in which it is presented, it is recommended reading for students and professors, researchers and architecture professionals, as well as the general public interested in this subject.
