Applications for Minors are open from July 1 to July 30 for students attending a Master’s programme in the upcoming academic year. A Minor consists of a specific set of subjects and corresponds to 18 ECTS credits, allowing students to enhance their basic scientific background.

Minors allow students to explore competences related to their field of interest, but they are not directly tied to the curricular structure of their course. The offerings are available to all Técnico master’s programmes, however, if a Minor primarily consists of subjects from the scientific area of a course, access to that Minor will be restricted to students attending that course.

The number of available Minors may be limited. Students must submit their applications for their preferred Minors via the application platform, selecting a maximum of six Minors in order of preference.

The results will be announced on 2 September, in accordance with the Academic Calendar.
