Universidade de Lisboa is pleased to announce the Portuguese as a Second Language Course, as part of the Programme to Promote Academic Success and Reduce Higher Education Dropouts, with the aim of training students from Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP) in Portuguese language skills.
Applications are open until 5 May 2025.
The objectives are as follows:
- To deepen knowledge of the structure and functioning of the Portuguese language
- To develop writing and speaking skills in academic and formal contexts;
- To consolidate previously acquired linguistic knowledge, promoting its conscious and appropriate application;
- To introduce essential aspects for a more effective command of the Portuguese language;
- To work on different types and genres of text, promoting reflection on their construction and use.
