Specialisation Course “Cybersecurity – Blue Team”: Applications are open until 28 April

A defensive cybersecurity specialist (Blue Team) is responsible for improving and strengthening the defence of the company’s IT systems, and their role is to detect and defend against cyberattacks.

Companies’ cybersecurity systems are currently being tested like never before, with a constant increase in cyberattacks and this situation is expected to worsen. These attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated and companies must ensure they have the means to defend themselves to minimise their vulnerabilities and losses. A defensive cybersecurity specialist (Blue Team) is responsible for improving and strengthening the defence of the company’s IT systems, and their role is to detect and defend against cyberattacks. The Blue Team therefore plays an essential role in protecting the company in the long term, ensuring that the defence system is working properly and constantly monitored.

The Blue Team course equips its trainees with the skills and techniques to defend against cyberattacks, promoting a holistic understanding of the organisation’s defence system, so that they know how to configure and implement a Security Operations Centre (SOC), and training them in the fundamentals of forensic investigation.

The course is part of the Practical Cybersecurity Specialisation Programme as compulsory. This edition will be delivered remotely, via Zoom.
