The specialisation course “Operational Cybersecurity – Blue Team” equips its trainees with the skills and techniques to defend against cyberattacks, promotes a holistic understanding of the organisation’s defence system, enables them to configure and implement a Security Operations Center (SOC), and trains them in the fundamentals of forensic investigation.
Companies’ cybersecurity systems are currently being tested like never before, with a constant increase in cyberattacks, and this situation is expected only to worsen. These attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and companies must ensure they have the means to defend against them in order to minimise their vulnerabilities and losses. A defensive cybersecurity specialist (Blue Team) is responsible for improving and strengthening the defence of the company’s IT systems, their role being to detect and defend against cyberattacks. Thus, the Blue Team plays an essential role in the long-term protection of the company, as it ensures the proper functioning and constant monitoring of the defence system.
This programme is part of the mandatory Practical Cybersecurity Specialisation Programme, and this edition will be delivered remotely via Zoom.
