Cyberattacks affect the smooth operation of any organisation, jeopardizing a large part of its critical services.
A company’s resilience depends, among other things, on its ability to respond to these incidents. Cybersecurity incident response specialists are responsible for post-attack management, playing an essential role in addressing the organisation’s vulnerabilities, ensuring that it returns to normal as quickly as possible after the attack. Additionally, these professionals conduct investigations that contribute to a greater understanding of the cause and origin of cyberattacks, in order to have more tools to prevent similar situations in the future.
The “Operational Cybersecurity Incident Response” course presents the necessary tools and methodologies to best respond to cyberattacks, empowering cybersecurity specialists in the development of guidelines and procedures to adopt post-attack, and preparing them in forensic analysis, so that they know how to identify the origin of the attacks.
The course is part of the mandatory “Practical Cybersecurity” Specialisation Programme, taught remotely via Zoom.
