Low-code development platforms have contributed to put a large number of apps in the market. Gartner predicts that low code application building would gather more than 65% of all app development functions by the year 2024 and with about 66% of big companies using a minimum of four low code platforms. Additionally, Forrester predicts that in 2022 this market will worth $ 21.2 billion.
The specialisation programme in LeAD: Low-Code Application Development is a partnership between Técnico+ and ITUp, and includes the Associate Developer certification by OutSystems.
Using a visual approach to programming and automation of repetitive tasks, low-code technology accelerates digital transformation. Through this platform, projects considered impossible or that would take years to execute in other types of programming languages substantially reduce the degree of difficulty and the time of implementation. This simplification in such important software has led large technological companies to invest heavily in the low-code market.
