The Management for Engineers course aims to provide the essential management skills of organisations preparing its trainees to effectively deal with business challenges.
Former Minister of Industry, top bank manager, engineer, and economist by training, Luís Mira Amaral explains, better than anyone, the different types of managers, their roles, and business strategies. He will give engineers the fundamental concepts of organisational management in a kind of mini MBA, in order to understand the movements that are being made and where they are heading, giving them an essential preparation to stand out in the organisation. It is intended to give engineers a robust framework on the management of organisations and the various practical management tools that will enable them to complete the training to improve and develop their professional activity.
The Specialisation Course in Management for Engineers is a mandatory module of the Specialisation Programme in Engineering and Management, and will take place in-person.
