Supply Chain Management is an essential area for any engineer whose functions fall on part or all of the supply chain of a company or organization. Adequate supply chain management allows financial gains for the organization and its employees, synergies, risk sharing and win-win results for all entities involved.
This course aims to teach the concept of supply chain, its management and the implications of decisions. It is also intended that trainees understand the advantages and disadvantages of the different methodologies, applying knowledge in cases not discussed in class.
The Specialisation course in Supply Chain Management is optional and part of the Specialisation Programme in Management and Engineering.
