«With the aim of promoting entrepreneurial and innovative capacity in the energy sector, Instituto SuperiorTécnico, with the support of GALP, is challenging Técnico students to develop creative solutions in TecInnov GALP 2023.
Through this competition, the participants will get the resources and support to test and build a solid proof of concept for their ideas, taking it beyond the conceptual stage.
The participants are challenged to present a solution to a problem in one of the thematic areas and qualify to win up to €5,000 to test their ideas.
Students can choose one of the following thematic areas:
-Optimization of natural graphite anode production;
-Sodium battery recycling and second-life use;
-Recycling of LFP (lithium-phosphate-iron) batteries;
-GALP Smart Store challenge;
-Design and optimization of a hydrogen production system for on-demand refueling of fuel cell vehicles;
-Dynamic/adaptable benchmarking tool of energy storage technologies;
-Energy Transition Solutions, Sustainability, and Innovation Challenge – GALP.
