As part of the Alumni Path, the Técnico Alumni Mentoring Programme allows Instituto Superior Técnico students to connect with alumni who have already navigated different academic and professional stages and are now ready to share their experience.

Through this mentoring programme, students can connect with an alumnus/alumna whose interests, goals, or field of study align with theirs, gaining support as they explore different career paths, clarify career-related questions, and learn more about the job market.

How can you participate?

Applications are open until 26 October.

To participate, simply create an account and complete your profile with a photo, biography, degree, skills, and areas of interest. Students who participated in the previous edition only need to confirm their details.

Once on the platform, participants can browse the available mentor profiles and select those who best match their interests, goals, or field of study. By 26 October, participants should send three connection requests.

From 2 November onwards, if a connection has not been established, the programme will assign a mentor based on matching criteria.

A mentor can provide a real-world perspective on the job market, share professional experiences, answer career-related questions, and help students explore different possibilities for their future.
