Unite! promotes training in Research Data Management and Open Science

The sessions take place from 11 march to 29 April and are aimed at researchers, students and university service staff.

Aalto University, as part of the Unite! Alliance, offer open to all training in Research Data Management and Open Science. The sessions take place from 11 March to 29 April 2025 and are aimed at researchers, students and university service staff.

The training programmes aim to equip participants with best practices and strategies for effective research data management, ensuring compliance with institutional and funding requirements.

The topics covered include:

  • Open Science principles and their implementation in academic research;
  • Requirements and best practices in research data management;
  • Data Management Plans (DMPs) and institutional and European requirements;
  • Open Access publishing and data sharing strategies.

This initiative has the support of the Unite! Widening, coordinated by Fátima Montemor, a professor at Instituto Superior Técnico. The initiative aims to promote the adoption of Open Science practices and strengthen collaboration between the Unite! partner institutions.
