«The Movimento de Expressão Fotográfica (MEF) [Movement of Photographic Expression], in collaboration with Universidade de Lisboa, is organising the Theatre Photography Workshop, designed to provide a unique experience of photographic coverage of the 24th edition of FATAL – Lisbon’s Annual Academic Theatre Festival.

Between 13 and 27 May, participants will be organised into work teams, coordinated in the field by trainer Tânia Araújo and accompanied in the classroom by trainer Luís Rocha.

The workshop includes a theoretical component, where specific stage photography techniques will be discussed, and a practical component, developed throughout the festival. The practical part involves photographing the programmed shows, as well as documenting the environment and parallel activities that form the atmosphere of FATAL.»
