«The finalists of the “3-Minute Thesis” competition have been chosen. The final competition will take place on 30th May, at 6.30 p.m., in the Lisbon Botanic Garden.
Universidade de Lisboa (ULisboa) promotes, for the first time, the “3-Minute Thesis” competition in 2023, challenging its PhD students to explain the impact of their research to a non-specialist audience, in just three minutes and using a single slide.
The final competition will take place in the Lisbon Botanic Garden, where the 12 finalists will present their “3-Minute Thesis” before the jury and the public. The jury is composed of experts from the different ULisboa Schools.
The first-place winner receives a prize of €5,000.00, the second-place winner €2,000.00 and the third-place winner €1,000.00.»
