The International Urban Development Association (INTA) will organise its 45th congress from 9th to 11th March, in Lisbon and Oeiras, with the support of these two municipalities, the Porto de Lisboa (Port of Lisbon) and the Técnico research unit – Centre for Innovation in Territory, Urbanism and Architecture (CiTUA).
The main theme of the congress is “From the City to Civitas: taking care of the City and giving it back to its inhabitants”.
Five topics will be addressed during the congress:
1. “Territories and Health: well-being, innovation and urban agriculture”.
2. “Public participation and social mobilization in the digital age for a healthier and more cohesive city”.
3. “Sustainable housing: urban regeneration, sobriety and accessible housing finance policies”.
4. “The city and water: riverbanks, coasts, blue and green corridors”.
5. “Crisis management and urban projects: another possibility of complementarity?”
