The fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics were strongly connected in the early days of AI, but have since diverged. Lucia Schools aim at filling this educational gap, by forming the next generation of researchers that will realize integrated intelligent robots. Students will be exposed to technologies at the forefront of research in AI and in Robotics.
The fourth edition of Lucia School will take place at Instituto Superior Técnico, from 4th to 8th September 2017. 30 students from different countries and 13 professors from academy and industry will participate in the event. The previous editions were held at U. Örebro, Switzerland.
Classes are open to IST community but limited to room capacity – Ea4 (North Tower).
