The Centre for Theoretical Particle Physics (CFTP) and the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP) will organise from 15th to 20th May the 8th edition of the mini-school on Particle and Astroparticle Physics.

The school is aimed at physics students at the end of the first cycle and aims to provide an introduction to the area, with a practical component, and to present cutting-edge research in the field.

The mini-school will be held on a mixed regime:
– Monday to Thursday: presentations by zoom in the evening with room for discussion;
– Friday afternoon and Saturday: Presentations and practical sessions at Inatel Oeiras (includes overnight stay at the hotel).

The capacity of the school is limited and scholarships are available to cover registration at the school.
