«The Técnico Staff Association (APIST) invites all members, along with their families and friends, to join a walk along the Penedo de Lexim Trail, where nature and history intertwine at every turn.
This circular route is approximately 7.5 km long and begins at the Aldeia da Mata Grande. Participants will walk through the picturesque Ribeira da Mata, past the Lizandro River, and up to the impressive Penedo de Lexim, an ancient volcano and natural viewpoint.
The walk will also include a visit to the Povoado Arqueológico de Lexim, which preserves the history of some of the region’s earliest communities. The journey concludes in the charming Aldeia da Mata Pequena before returning to the starting point.»
