«The Bioengineering Week at Instituto Superior Técnico emerged in 2014, as an initiative of students from the Department of Bioengineering (DBE), with the mission of strengthening the relationship between the academic community and the business world/scientific community, also publicizing the work developed in Portugal and around the world in the most diverse sectors of Bioengineering.

The 9th edition, organised by students of Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Bioengineering: Regenerative and Precision Medicine, and Bioengineering and Nanosystems, will take place from April 22 to 26, 2024 and will include lecture series, workshops, pitch sessions, alumni sessions and study visits, as well as a job fair and a debate.

This event aims to bring together an interdisciplinary group of students, academics, companies and startups, encouraging interaction and knowledge sharing between these entities.»
