The Telecommunications and Informatics Engineering student group at Instituto Superior Técnico (NEETI-IST) will organise, from 30September to 2 October, the 1st edition of BreakingDev.
This event consists of a 48-hour programming competition, where university students will be free to develop their own project, in an informal atmosphere.
Registrations can be done in teams from 3 to 5 elements or individual. The competition is limited to a maximum of 100 participants.
The competition will be divided in 3 categories (Mobile, Games and Web) and the teams/participants can choose in which category they want to compete. One winner will be chosen in each of the three categories.
Projects are evaluated by a jury whose names will be disclosed in due time.
The BreakingDev also has a volunteer programme for students who wish to participate as volunteers, providing support to the event and ensuring that everything goes as planned.
