The Auditorium of Instituto Superior Técnico’s Campus Tecnológico e Nuclear (CTN) in Loures will host another session of Centro de Ciências e
Tecnologias Nucleares Academy, as part of the Thematic Line ´Earth Systems, Radioactivity & Cultural Heritage`.
Researcher Ana Maria Costa, Geoarchaeologist at Laboratório de Arqueociências (LARC) – Património Cultural, I.P., will present a seminar dedicated to how Geosciences enable us to understand the archaeological record and reconstruct ancient landscapes from sediments.
The session will discuss methods that help identify the formation and alteration of archaeological sites and interpret traces left by past societies — with a focus on the ´Lisbon Stories` project, which studies the evolution of Lisbon’s coastal estuary area.”
