«The “Biomanufacturing Without Borders” Conference is part of the “Without Borders” series, supported by Instituto Superior Técnico, Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB), and the Portuguese Society for Stem Cells and Cell Therapies (SPCE-TC).

This event will bring together experts from diverse fields to explore the latest innovations in bioprocessing, including cell-based therapies (e.g., stem cells and extracellular vesicles), biomaterials for therapeutic applications, 3D models for drug screening, and bioprocess optimisation (e.g., scale-up, AI, and big data).

National and international researchers, alongside industry partners, will share their advances, including digital tools for process optimisation and the shift towards more sustainable and efficient production methods.

The event will also feature selected oral and poster presentations, recognising significant contributions with special awards.»
