Technology, mobility, architecture, sustainability and social inclusion are reshaping our territories — bringing both new opportunities and challenges that demand reflection and action.

As part of its 45th anniversary celebrations, the Department of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environment (DECivil) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, is pleased to announce DECivil Day 2026 on 5 May, under the theme “Building the Future: Challenges and Solutions for the City of Tomorrow”.

This day will be dedicated to knowledge sharing, debate, and the development of new perspectives on more inclusive, resilient and sustainable cities, always with people at their core.»
