From 5th to 9th February 2018, the Department of Chemical Engineering (DEQ) will welcome more than 2000 students, from basic and secondary education, in another edition of Open Laboratories.
This event aims to disseminate science among the young people, motivating them to study science and technology, as well as to give them a general view of the role of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering in modern life. This event will include interactive experiences and visits to the exhibition “Science & Art”.
Secondary school students will have the opportunity to attend lectures by faculty and professionals in industry, many of them Técnico alumni, who will speak about the different job opportunities in the area of Chemical Engineering.
This event is organised by the Department of Chemical Engineering in collaboration with the Chemical Engineering student group.
