«The Técnico Staff Association (APIST) is pleased to announce a visit to Técnico’s Anechoic Chamber.

Located in the Interdisciplinary Building, Técnico’s Anechoic Chamber was the first to be built in Portugal, in 1972, and is known for its ability to completely absorb sound waves, providing an environment of total silence and acoustic insulation.

The visitors will be welcomed by Prof. Bento Coelho, who will explain the details of this chamber and its construction in more detail”.
