«The Técnico Staff Association (APIST) is pleased to announce a visit to the X-ray diffraction laboratory, where Técnico researchers have explored the wonderful microscopic world and set out to discover and identify the structures of materials.

The laboratory is located at Alameda Campus, in Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE).

X-ray diffraction plays a crucial role in the development of new materials, such as medicines, and its importance extends from basic research to practical applications in industry».
