The European Astrobiology Network Association Conference (EANA) will take place from 21 to 24 October at Técnico – Alameda Campus.
This annual meeting brings together the European and international astrobiology community, and will include keynotes, talks, and poster sessions, among others.
It is the first in-person edition in Portugal, and Técnico Lisboa plays a special role in this context, having created the first astrobiology group in the country and also being the first institution to offer a Curricular Unit in this area.
The conference was organised by several astrobiology researchers from Portugal and abroad: Zita Martins (EANA 2025 Chair) from Instituto Superior Técnico, Nuno Santos, from University of Porto, Jorge Gameiro, from University of Porto, Pedro Machado, from Universidade de Lisboa, Ana Zélia Miller, from IRNAS-CSIC, Marta Cortesão, from University of Porto, Jean-Pierre de Vera (EANA President), from German Aerospace Center, Ruth-Sophie Taubner (EANA Secretary), from Austrian Academy of Sciences, Lena Noack (EANA webmaster), from Freie Universität Berlin, EANA Executive Council.
