BEST Lisbon opened registrations for the EBEC, European BEST Engineering Competition, the largest European engineering competition!
In this 24-hour event, the participants are tested in one of the two existing categories: Team Design and Case Study. In the category of Team Design, each team must solve a technical challenge by building a prototype in limited time and with limited resources. At the end of the competition, the team with the best solution and prototype is declared the winner. The category of Case Study consists of creating an innovative solution to a technical or logistical problem in limited time.
The winners of the local phase of each country will go on to the national round, which will be held at Porto. Finally, the winners of the national round will meet in a European city to compete in the finals at Brno, in the Czech Republic.
The competition will take place as follows: 18th and 19th March (Case Study category); 25th and 26th March (Team Design category).
