The ENDE 2016 – Electromagnetic Non Destructive Evaluation Workshop will take place at Técnico (Congress Centre), from 25th to 28th September.
Non Destructive Testing – NDT is a research area that comprises the development of technologies and methodologies for the evaluation of material integrity, components and structures without destroying its applicability. These techniques are of great importance for the inspection of pipelines, reservoirs, oil rigs, nuclear power plants, bridges, aircraft, trains or other motor vehicles.
The 1st ENDE workshop was held in UK 20 years ago in order to promote studies on the application of electromagnetics to the non-destructive testing and evaluation. It has contributed significantly to the promotion of the studies worldwide. ENDE is regarded as one of the most important academic meetings for researchers in this field. This workshop is held annually and is attended by engineers, physicists, scientists and researchers from around the world. Authors of accepted short papers are encouraged to submit a full version of the papers at the workshop, which will be peer reviewed for inclusion in a special issue.
