What happens to toilet water?
Do you know the journey that water from our toilets takes before it can be reused? And that, during this journey, we can use this water to detect and prevent diseases? And that, at the end of this journey, the water can be used again for activities such as agriculture?
On 10 December 2025, at 10 a.m., live at Técnico – Alameda campus, we will be joined by Ricardo Santos, researcher at the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Engineering (DECN) – Instituto Superior Técnico, Civil Engineering Research and Innovation for Sustainability (CERIS) and the Water Laboratory at Instituto Superior Técnico, who will answer these questions.
