The Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia with the support of Universidade de Lisboa, will organise the First ERC-Portugal Evento on 2 December, at 9 a.m., in the Great Hall of Universidade de Lisboa.
Maria Leptin, president of the European Research Council (ERC), will give a keynote lecture.

The programme will include a roundtable titled “Linking Science and Policy for a Carbon Neutral and Digital Europe” featuring André Martins, a professor at Instituto Superior Técnico and winner of ERC grants in 2017 and 2023, and the presentation of the ERC-Portugal Programme as an instrument to support the scientific community in the various cycles of national participation in ERC competitions.

The event will be held in English.
