From 20 to 24 April, Lisbon will host the HEPiX Spring Meeting 2026, one of the most important international meetings on scientific computing and research infrastructure management.
The event will be hosted by LIP and CNCA and will be held at ISCTE in Lisbon.
What is HEPiX?
Since 1991, the High Energy Physics Information Exchange has brought together IT experts, system administrators, and managers from laboratories and institutes like CERN, BNL, SLAC, KEK, INFN, among others. It is a global forum for the exchange of technical expertise, best practices and technological innovation in science.
What can we expect from the Lisbon edition?
- Facilities Evolution (in collaboration with the OTF group);
- TechWatch (hardware innovations);
- Applied AI in Computing Centers (AI applied to data center operations);
- Show us your toolbox (hands-on workshop on sharing tools).
Early-bird registration is open until 16 March and abstract submissions are accepted until 1 April.
HEPiX’s presence in Portugal is a recognition of the excellence of our community in high-performance computing for science and will provide a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts in the field.
