The ninth session of the IST Distinguished Lecture Series will take place on June 29, at 11 a.m., in amphitheatre PA3 (Physics building), and will be organised by ACPMME (Scientific Area of Mechanical Project and Structural Materials) – Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The IST Distinguished Lectures aim to promote Science in Portugal bringing together professors and researchers who have distinguished themselves in their fields of expertise.

Professor Lars Montelius, General Director of INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, will be the guest speaker of this session. The lecture will be titled “Science 4.0 – a key driver for societal development”.
