Professor Manuela Veloso will deliver a Distinguished Lecture on March 12, at 2.30 p.m., in Abreu Faro amphitheatre, within DEEC Talks, organised by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Técnico.
The IST Distinguished Lectures aim to promote Science in Portugal bringing together professors and researchers who have distinguished themselves in their fields of expertise.
Manuela Veloso, is Herbert A. Simon University Professor in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and Técnico alumna. She is the co-founder and past President of RoboCup, and past President of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. The lecture will focus on CoBot-human interaction.
