Date: 18 and 19 March
Time: 9 a.m.
Venue: Técnico – Alameda Campus
«The main objective of this event, organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEM) at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa, is to present HVAC technologies and equipment, chillers and heat pumps, highlighting their applications, technical specifications, and relevance in the context of sustainable climate solutions.
It is intended to introduce the academic community, particularly third-year and master’s students in Mechanical Engineering, to market solutions in the HVAC field, providing direct contact with equipment, technologies, and practices currently used in the sector.
As the event is also open to industry professionals, designers and installers, it aims to foster interaction between students and the professional sector, particularly through equipment testing and practical demonstrations of their functionalities.
The initiative also seeks to promote the sharing of technical knowledge and encourage direct contact with technical equipment solutions, thereby helping to strengthen the link between Técnico and industry.
The equipment will be set up in the car park of the Electrical Engineering Building, with rehearsals scheduled for the following times each day:
- 1st Rehearsal: Between 10:00 am and 11:00 am · 2nd Rehearsal: Between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
- End of event: 5:00 pm
The event will also include technical explanations about the equipment and an exchange of ideas.
