On May 18, at 9.45 a.m., will take place a live broadcast of a surgery (gastric bypass) using the da Vinci Surgical System Xi. This event is held within the curricular unit Robotics and Manipulation of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Técnico, in collaboration with Hospital CUF Infante Santo and Biomedical Engineering Group at IST. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Carlos Vaz and the session will be moderated by professor Jorge Martins.
