«The Local Event on Education (LEoE), organised by BEST Lisbon, will take place on 27 May 2025, at Técnico Innovation Center powered by Fidelidade.

This event aims to foster dialogue among students, academia, and industry about the future of STEM education, with a particular focus on interdisciplinary learning and the impact of Artificial Intelligence on teaching practices.

Throughout the day, participants will attend an opening ceremony with keynote speakers and listen to a panel discussion featuring experts from diverse fields who will debate the role of AI in education.

In addition to the formal sessions, informal networking opportunities will be offered, creating space for attendees to exchange ideas. The event will also serve as a platform for collecting input for BEST’s Educational Involvement Programme (EIP), which seeks to contribute to educational change at the European level.»
